Last updated: 27th February 2019 takes Safeguarding very seriously. Across all possible communication channels no private communication is initiated with persons under the age of 18 (“Children”) and no private messages are responded to. Communication is done entirely via parents/guardians.

Appropriate public replies may be made to social media comments or questions, all of which are published and available to view on the relevant platform. An example of an appropriate public reply is: to give helpful information about exam dates in answer to a student’s public question on Twitter.

Any communication with Children as part of a tuition arrangement is carried out with parent/guardian permission and with full parent/guardian oversight.

All tutors booked through are trained in current Safeguarding best practice and are subject to enhanced background checks through the UK Disclosure and Barring Service (“DBS”). Proof of DBS disclosure is made available to parents/guardians during the process of arranging tuition. More information on the DBS is available here:
