Great model answers I thoroughly recommend all 3 of Edward Mooney’s GCSE English Language books. As a home ed parent, I had printed all past papers, scrutinised examiner reports, bought the endorsed textbooks, etc and still felt unclear about what an ideal answer for the writing element of the English Language exam should look like. These books are great. They are succinct, streamlined and on point. There’s no unnecessary jargon. Each of the English Language books have clear samples of a grade 9 writing response. For us, seeing the model answers is what we needed.
